Transactional replication can be configured in three different architectures. The default architecture is to have a single publisher with one or more subscribers. Alternatively, transactional replication can be configured by using either a bidi rectional or peer-to-peer architecture. Tracer tokens enable an administrator to gather timing statistics within the rep lication from publisher to distributor and also from distributor to subscriber to monitor the point-to-point latency.
