12. Save the document and test the movie. When you click on the circle you should see the current time values displayed in the Output panel. Each time you click on the circle a new, updated set of values should be appended to the list in the Output panel. Now that you ve had an opportunity to complete the steps in this exercise, you re ready to take a closer look at what s going on. First, you simply created a new Movie Clip symbol containing circle artwork. This is probably already a familiar process to you. Once you created the symbol, the next step was to create a new instance of it on the stage. So, you returned to the main timeline, dragged an instance from the library onto the stage, and named the new instance. It is a good practice to create your ActionScript code on its own layer. This is helpful when you need to locate your code. Therefore, the next thing you did was create a new layer named Actions specifically for this purpose. With that layer created, you then added the code to the keyframe on the layer. You may have noticed that the code looked remarkably similar to the code from the previous exercise. In fact, the majority of the code is identical. The only difference is that now the code is encapsulated in an event-handler method instead of a regular function, and the code is invoked when the event occurs instead of manually invoking the function as before. The onPress() event-handler method is used here because it handles the event of the user clicking on the object with the mouse.

6. By default, the Do not evaluate if all referenced fields are empty check box is marked. If you want the calculation to always be performed even if all the referenced fields are blank click the box to remove the check mark.

A key to making usable solutions is the addition of control elements that guide and support you. To achieve this, you can add screen devices (that is, layout objects) that perform actions or commands. These provide you with signposts, shortcuts, and other forms of assistance when using your solution. With all the preceding considerations in mind, 6 examines a number of key techniques for developing the interface and beginning to build an appropriate user interaction model of your solutions.

n If two or more text frames are selected, a loaded-text icon appears. 14 explains the various forms this icon can take, but the basic form is of a paragraph icon with the first few words of the text displayed under it. n If no text frames are selected, a loaded-text icon lets you draw a rectangular text frame to contain the text, click in an existing empty frame, or click any empty area in your layout to create a text frame there with the text. In addition to placing individual objects, such as text and graphics frames, into a library, you can also place multiple-selected objects, groups, nested frames, ruler guides, guidelines, and all objects on a page. There are several ways to add objects to a library. You can:

Gas sparged chemical reactors are designed and used in many different geometries. These reactors are usually continuous in gas, and batch or continuous in liquid. Some of the geometries in use are bubble columns, pipe and static mixer reactors, stirred vessels, packed columns, tray columns, spray columns, jet loop reactors, and venturi ejector reactors. Design equations for each geometry are based on correlations and simplifying assumptions, such as uniform kL a in the stirred vessel. Other gas liquid reactors include spray columns and spray combustors.
