We can create a template part in Visual Studio or by using the InfoPath client. Our header is going to contain only layout, so we will use the client. To create the header template part, open InfoPath 2007. In the Getting Started dialog box that appears, select the Design a Form Template link. In the next dialog select the Template Part radio button. This dialog is identical to the one you saw when you created the InfoPath project in Visual Studio. You should then see two data-source options: blank and XML or Schema. Keep the default value blank and make sure the Enable Browser-Compatible Features check box is checked. The form we created earlier is web-enabled, which requires that any template part it uses also be available via the Web. The template part in this solution consists of a simple table and some text, which you can add in the designer.
