The mediator will interact with the proxy class, ContactProxy, on behalf of the view to get data by invoking the Spring services. Each of the methods is accessed through a notification that is processed in the mediator class for contacts. The ApplicationFacade is responsible for directing traffic through custom notification constants that are defined there.
