The PortletDiskFileUpload class also handles the temporary storage of any uploaded files. Files that are smaller than a specified size (default is 10KB) are stored in memory, and larger files are stored on the hard drive in a temporary repository. The setSizeThreshold() method sets the cutoff size for memory storage.
